Radar Systems Engineer / Staff Level / Grand Prairie, TX
Lockheed Martin is looking for an experienced radar systems engineer to work on a fast-paced, cutting edge missile development team. This exciting program is at an ideal phase for innovative engineering, being early enough to permit significant innovations but mature enough to get real-world validation through hardware-in-the-loop and flight tests. The program is part of our Air and Missile Defense portfolio at our Missiles and Fire Control location in Grand Prairie, TX, a world leader in defensive missile systems.
Play a key role in the development and maturation of multiple radar missile seekers, including requirements definition and verificaiton, radar architecture design, and radar system performance analysis. Proficiency with Matlab and radar performance simulations is required. Knowledge of angle finding algorithms, Kalman filtering, target tracking, and waveform design are highly desired. The dynamic team environment offers opportunities to employ broad skills, so experience in radar hardware, integration and test, calibration, and C++ are also beneficial.
