QA Engineering Associate Mgr / Orlando, FL

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer Manager Associate for a position based in Orlando, Florida. The Quality professional will be responsible for leadership and performance within the Supplier Quality Engineering discipline, including Supplier Quality Engineering business process management,
data analytics, continuous improvement, and talent
development, training and knowledge continuity. The position may require working flexible hours & travel. The candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert in the area of Supplier Quality Engineering and as an Adviser for the Quality team. This position requires that the candidate stay current with industry standards, solutions and leverage technology into MFC.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Oversight & direct responsibility for Central Supplier Quality Engineer(s)/Analyst(s) Supervising the Central Supplier Quality assignment and coordination of daily tasks inclusive of but not limited to: source inspection, first article inspection, Production Process Baseline,
surveillance, and product line validations as outlined by
applicable company and industry standards
Ensure supplier contract flow-down requirements are
implemented and verified
Establish, revise, review and implement departmental policy and procedures.
Lead effort to consolidate department common processes for all sites.
Provide technical liaison support related to quality engineering matters
Drive strategies resulting in optimal business methods and practices for strengthening the Quality Management System and talent development
Develop, implement and support processes to optimize program execution while driving out risks
Utilize quality methodologies and Missiles and Fire Control
policies and procedures
Identifying solutions to complex problems with a focus on
continual improvement practices
Support Supplier requests tied to program requirements, while interfacing with customers and program management

Basic Qualifications
Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
Advanced Quality Engineering or Analyst experience.
Must have ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
In-depth knowledge and experience in Quality processes and procedures.
Advanced knowledge and experience conducting PO reviews, source inspections, Special Process/QMS surveys, FAI's, and surveillance at supplier facilities.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment, multi-task and meet deadlines
Proficient communication and presentation skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, etc.
Experienced as a team lead and facilitator with Business
Management skills and basic personnel management training.
Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to influence
Must have the ability to travel

Desired skills
Technical Engineering Degree
A basic understanding of the MFC SAP and P2P business systems
ASQ Certification or Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green
Belt/Black Belt)
Advanced AS9100, AS9102 Interpretation and application
Experienced in Bid, Proposal and Estimating practices and
development of Quality Assurance Basis of Estimates (BOE).
Ability to implement strategy and meet performance
Demonstrates Full Spectrum Leadership attributes
