Project Manager Senior - Unmanned Aircraft - UAV - Special Operations Forces

Manages sustainment and supports operational aspects of ongoing Unmanned Aircraft projects and serves as project management's point of contact between functional managers and customers (internal / external). Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet operational availability, fielding, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Basic Qualifications
Solid foundational knowledge of project management practices (Cost-Earned Value, Schedule, Performance), to include practical program/project management experience in the Department of Defense support arena. Assists in development of support plans and provides technical assistance to existing Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) government personnel, e.g. Materiel Fielding Plans (MFP), Configuration Management Plans (CMP), and Life-cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP). Develops relationships with OEMs/vendors and the Government. Strong communicator both written and oral.

Desired skills
Operational experience as a UAS / UAV / Remotely Piloted Vehicle leader, operator or support person. Experience and knowledge of PUMA, Scan Eagle, Predator, Reaper, Instant Eye, and specialized payloads. In-depth knowledge and
experience in the development of life cycle sustainment activity requirements.
PMP certification a plus.
