Project Engineer Staff / Mechanical Engineer

Lockheed Martin Energy seeks an Energy Engineer to coordinate the planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects within the areas of assigned responsibility. Primary area of work is expected to be the California central valley but can be any part of the PG&E service territory. Candidate should be familiar with customized energy savings projects including facility energy audits and energy savings calculations techniques, polices and procedures. Candidate will be required to conduct job walks at client facilities to identify energy savings opportunities. Review energy assessment studies. Research the latest, available technologies for focused industries. Assist with the writing and review of technical reports for accuracy. Coordinate activities related to technical developments, scheduling, and assist with resolving engineering design and project approval problems.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college

5+ years of customized energy savings projects experience

Desired skills
Pacific Gas and Electrics (PG&E) Third Party Program Policy experience.

5+ years of customized energy savings projects experience including:
• Facility energy audits
• Energy savings calculations
• Large Integrated Energy Audit Reviews

Ability to conduct engineering calculations due to energy savings and process improvement recommendations

Knowledge of PG&E energy audit techniques
