Project Engineer / HVAC/ Energy Efficiency - Nashville, TN

Position will support the delivery of a large Utility energy program. Understanding of energy industry, energy programs and energy technology are desired but not required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Perform Energy validation activities, including audits, inspections and metering in Commercial and Industrial facilities.
-Conduct Energy Savings Measurement and Verification (M&V) activities, including the development and execution of IPMVP compliant M&V plans and execution.
-Perform technical studies of complex building systems.
-Perform energy analysis of facility energy improvements using standard or predefined energy analysis tools and methodology
• Conduct walkthrough audits of facilities and interviewing facility owners/managers to determine what efficiency improvements are feasible
• Identify energy technologies and energy savings studies/financial analysis to support development of prescriptive measures
• Engage in project coordination duties to include financial and savings forecasting assistance, work flow management, status reporting, database management, and project file maintenance

Building Energy Management and Controls
Motors and Pumps
Industrial Process Equipment
Compressed Air Systems
Excel Expertise
*Technical Writing

Desired skills
Energy Savings Measurement and Verification (M&V) experience, including the development and execution of IPMVP compliant M&V plans IPMVP Certification, CEM, LEED AP, Exposure to building modeling software or simulation tools such as eQuest, EnergyPro, Trace 700, HAP. Adept at utilizing MS Office applications for analysis, documentation, and presentation of energy projects.
