Program Planner - Microsoft Project Experience - Special Operations Forces

Program Planner for the Special Operations Forces Global Support Services (SOF GLSS) program. Specific responsibilities include the following tasks for multiple Special Ops task orders under the recently awarded IDIQ: Develops, statuses, and analyzes Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in sufficient detail to monitor progress, assess program status, and identify performance issues in a timely manner. Develop recovery plans ensuring that program milestones are completed in accordance with contract requirements and the SOF GLSS financial commitments. Use of critical path methodology and application in network development, analysis, and problem resolution is required. Performs independent schedule risk assessments and mitigation planning. In conjunction with program finance and Control Account Managers (CAM) the planner develops/maintains Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and metrics ensuring cost/schedule integration and provides monthly EV status and analysis. Supports proposal activities including IMP development as required. Position requires coordination with program management, customer, IPT leads/CAMs, functional leads and reports to the Master Program Planning Manager.

Basic Qualifications
Microsoft Project experience (or related scheduling tool)
Microsoft office (excel, powerpoint, word)
Fundamental knowledge of business operations principles (Program Life cycle)

Desired skills
Experience with DoD programs
IMS development/critical path methodology
Earned Value Management (EVM)
Proposal building experience
Business or Industrial Engineering degree
Strategic thinker
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
