Procurement Manager/Orlando, FL

This position is to manage the Longbow Subcontract team through production, sustainment and development activities. The successful candidate will be responsible managing the programs Subcontract Managers and Procurement Representatives for execution of their requirements. This position will require direct daily interaction with the program senior management team as well as interfacing with the line of business Vice President and their staff.
The Longbow Fire Control Radar has a worldwide supply base, and this position will have total responsibility for supplier performance in terms of cost, schedule and technical requirements to meet the internal plans of the Program and ultimately the requirements of the end user, the warfighter. The selected candidate will be accountable for a variety of metrics to support program requirements as well as shaping and developing the career goals of their team of Subcontract Managers. In addition, they will support supplier negotiations as well as be responsible for meeting the Programs Affordability goals/requirements. Travel will be expected for this position (20-30%).

Basic Qualifications
Must have previous Procurement leadership experience. Must be proficient in Truth and Negotiations Act (TINA), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) guidelines. The chosen candidate must have the ability to negotiate and settle contracts, be able to recognize and manage risk related to the supply chain and work in a teaming environment with our Customers. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Must have the ability to travel up to 20-30%

Desired skills
The selected candidate must be well organized and have the ability to handle multiple, complex issues at once. A full understanding of the Longbow Radar supply base will be required once selected. Working closely and mentoring subordinates is a requirement for this position as well as talent development. This candidate will be required to make presentations to large groups. Proficiency of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Policies (LMAP) is preferred.
