Procurement Engineer Staff

Seeking a PE to join the Procurement Engineer. Procurement engineers serves as a technical support to the PAC-3 GSC team chartered with reducing risk in the supply base. In this role, the selected candidate will support major supplier Subcontract Management Team(s). On the SMT, the PE will serve as risk and
opportunity manager, will manage the Statement of
Requirements (SOR), participate in change management, identify affordability opportunities, and will be responsible for capacity and capability analysis at a minimum. Additional SMT tasks include participating in or facilitating process improvement
or corrective action activities such as controlled builds, product line validation, PFMEA, PO Kickoff, failure investigations/RCCA, etc. Additional PE tasks outside of the SMT include support of the GSC operations team and initiatives.

Basic Qualifications
Background / degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing
Engineering or similar field
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work proactively / self motivated
Excellent teamwork and team leadership skills
Requirements management

Desired skills
Green Belt or Black Belt certified
Experience with PAC-3 program
Working knowledge of DOORS and/or willingness to learn
Experience with Process Simulator or other capacity analysis tools
Risk Management Experience
