Missile Performance Analysis Lead

Lockheed Martin is seeing a Lead Performance Analyst for an international Integrated Air Defense System proposal effort. The selected candidate will lead efforts for program simulation and modeling performance assessments. Area of responsibility includes the fire control radar, missile, launcher, and tactical operations center. Duties include conducting simulation end-to-end performance assessments and analysis tasks for the system. Includes support to flight test planning efforts, and presentation of systems predictions for program reviews. Requires extensive data analysis skills, plus scripting in MATLAB. Will include creating large volumes of Monte Carlo simulation results and performing detailed statistical analyses on the results.


Basic Qualifications
BS in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent. Experience with a high-level programming language such as Fortran or C++. Experience with MATLAB. Familiarity with flight performance prediction methods. Understanding of standard coordinate systems used in flight vehicle performance analysis. Understanding of 3DOF and 6DOF flight simulations. Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with 6-DOF flight performance simulations, and creating presentation-ready plots of performance data sets.

Candidate must have a secret clearance to be considered for this position.

Desired skills
Proposal writing and estimating experience is highly desirable.
Experience with international business is a plus.
Previous experience handling Export Controlled and ITAR-regulated information.
