Missile Modeling and Simulation Engineer (Grand Prairie, TX)

Description:Lockheed Martin is looking for a modeling and simulation engineer to contribute to the simulation effort for a fast-paced new missile program. This program is part of our Tactical Missiles Advanced Programs portfolio at our Missiles and Fire Control location in Grand Prairie, TX.

As a member of the Modeling & Simulation (M&S) team on a new program, you will contribute to the simulation architecture, develop models for 6DOF simulation, and maintain the simulation.

As a member of the development team, you will help take the project from concept development through hardware-in-the-loop and flight testing. Exercise your technical and teaming skills as you get in at the ground floor of this exciting development program.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must currently posses an Active Secret clearance.

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.

Experience with the following:

• C++ and 6DOF development required.

• Configuration management of software or simulation development efforts.
Desired Skills:
Experience with the following:

• JIRA, Bitbucket, or Git.

• Visual Studio and Linux.

• Hardware-in-the-loop simulation testing.

• MATLAB.

• HWIL integration is also highly desired.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
