Missile Guidance Navigation Control Engineer / Grand Prairie, TX

Description:Lockheed Martin is looking for a Guidance, Navigation and Control engineer to work on the premier missile defense system currently saving lives around the world. This program is part of our Air and Missile Defense portfolio at our Missiles and Fire Control location in Grand Prairie, TX, a world leader in missile defense systems.
Develop and improve missile fire control algorithms to improve system performance against advanced threats. Apply your skills in optimal state estimation, modeling of dynamic systems, statistics, and aerospace GNC. Communicate the technical story to customers and company leadership through both presentations and written documents. See the impact of your algorithms in digital simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, flight test, and in the deployed systems protecting our warfighters. Be part of a high-performing team with a track record of mission success against continually evolving threats.

This position requires an active Secret clearance and programming experience, preferably in Fortran.

Basic Qualifications:
Proficient with Matlab, Fortran or C++.

Active Secret clearance.

Experience with modeling dynamic systems, optimal state estimation or Kalman filters, and statistics.

Familiarity with GNC for aerospace vehicles.
Desired Skills:
Experience with performance simulations of aircraft or missile systems.
Masters degree in engineering
