Mechanical Engineer / Stress Analysis / FEA / Orlando, FL
-Stress/Structures/Dynamics Engineer to perform structural analysis for flight structures and ground test support equipment's.
-The ideal candidate will have stress analysis experience that includes classical hand analysis as well as finite element analysis methods.
-Job duties may encompass; linear and non-linear stress analysis, composites analysis, modal analysis, buckling analysis, joint and mechanism analysis.
-The candidate should be highly skilled in finite element modeling and analysis, with expertise in the use of MSC or NX Nastran strongly preferred and pre/postprocessor experience in ANSA, NX, FEMAP, or I-DEAS preferred.
-Experience with high velocity impact analysis, flight test random vibration data reduction, or analysis/test correlation is a plus.
-Requires good verbal and written communications skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
-Candidate will be required to support designers, materials engineers, and manufacturing engineers in new design to determine structural configuration options, good load paths, optimum material selection and weight, and affordable and producible parts with adequate margins of safety.
-Job duties may also require oversight or support of structural test including definition and planning, requirements, monitoring, data reduction and report writing, and correlation with analysis.
-Other duties may include failure review board (FRB) support, and production support including analysis to disposition Material Review Board items.

-Candidate MUST possess an Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance with a closed investigation (or re-investigation) within 6 years.
-Bachelor Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or another related field.
-Must have a minimum of 2 years professional experience in mechanical engineering, preferably focused specifically on stress, structural and / or dynamics analysis.
-Experience in stress and / or dynamics analysis.
-Experience with FEA modeling.
-Basic knowledge of Manufacturing methods.
Experience that includes one or more of the following;
-ANSA/Meta FEM tool
-NASTRAN FEA solver
-Education and training in material characteristics, experience in fatigue assessments, structural analysis training in metals and welds.
-Training with various testing equipment's relative to stress and dynamics analysis.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a necessity.
-Skilled in all Microsoft Office products.
