Manufacturing Planner / SAP / Camden, AR

Investigate, analyze and resolve assigned special project or problem conditions as related to inventory accuracy, work orders, and capacity on make items and customer supplied material. Create/monitor reports for program. Coordinate material needs with expeditor and purchasing. Investigate inventory discrepancies. Confirm material supply/demand. Review material requirements for disposition and action. Good judgment, initiative and independent actions are necessary to ensure inventory accuracy and to prevent and eliminate shortage conditions. Excellent computer skills are required. Travel may be required. Will interface with all levels of management.

The Locale: Camden is a city in southern Arkansas. Camden is located on the Ouachita River, at the end of the navigable river. Camden is about a two hour drive south from Little Rock, AR. Camden is part of the Timberlands region of Arkansas. Timber, Oil, Deer Hunting, Bass fishing... These are words commonly used when people talk about the Timberlands of Arkansas. It's a region with rich natural resources that was discovered by pioneers from the eastern United States in the early 1800s. The abundant natural resources of the Timberlands are still attracting people today. Visitors enjoy the legacy of those pioneers by visiting sites ranging from 1800s log cabins and restored Victorian homes to local museums and colorful murals that tell the history of this land. Communities within an hour or two from Camden include Texarkana, Hot Springs AR, and Shreveport, LA.

Basic Qualifications
At minimum a 2 year degree with Inventory control experience, leadership capabilities, one year experience in SAP and ability to work in ordnance facility. This facility requires special access and therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen.

Desired skills
Experience with MRP and scheduling in SAP, Production control support, warehousing knowledge, purchasing and supply chain knowledge.
