Manufacturing Engineering Manager / Grand Prairie, TX

Description:This position will be responsible for all Manufacturing Engineering tasks for the Dallas mechanical hardware fabrication. This position will be responsible for all NC Programming, Tool Design, Work Instructions and developing mechanical processes. This position will also be responsible for working producability with the design team, supplying estimates for new work, and interfacing with factory management and program management.

This position will manage 40+ employees and will be responsible for all staffing in the area and responsible for managing Overhead budgets.

Basic Qualifications:
- The candidate must have a strong background with NC Programming and Tool Design.
- Strong mechanical fabrication background in developing processes for machining and mechanical assembly.
- The candidate must has strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple programs.
- Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Candidate must have an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a US Government issued Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
- Tool Design and NC Programming experience
- Previous management experience
- Knowledge of estimating practices
- Ability to manage IRAD projects
- Work Instruction development knowledge
