Successful candidate will support the Advanced Programs Mission area production operations team in the areas of manufacturing process development, trouble shooting, tooling concepts, and fabrication. Candidate will also support program areas, i.e. make or buy, support of capital planning, setup and first run of hardware builds, including working closely with on-program engineers and missile technicians. Other task includes supporting production operations meetings, customer interface for production IPT, process simulation creation and maintenance, manufacturing readiness assessments support, and coordination with suppliers for producibility. Coordinate between Orlando commodity shops, Ocala, and Troy on an as needed basis. Candidate may be required to travel approximately 1 week per month.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace/Manufacturing/Electrical) or related discipline.
-Technical knowledge and experience in the areas of manufacturing and testing.
-Knowledge of manufacturing readiness levels
-Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication to effectively communicate with senior program leadership and functional leadership, and within a virtual team environment.
- Knowledge and experience with the Capital Process from planning, justifications for capital projects, and leading capital projects.
- Training in Lean Six Sigma with experience leading and delivering results from SIA events.
-Must already have or have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
-Knowledge of the Missile Manufacturing
-Lockheed Martin experience with focus on production operations
-Working knowledge of LEAN -Six Sigma skills
-CREO (Pro-E) experience with a focus on tooling, taking a concept through to final design and fabrication
-Working knowledge of GD&T, and experience with manufacturing processes, precision machining/tolerances, assembly sequences, and ability to ID potential test points within the assembly flow
-Familiarity SAP is a plus
-Able to ID and correct process issues and implement cost saving solutions (Affordability)
-Understanding and wide application of complex Electro-mechanical/Optical Final Assembly, Integration and Test methods
-Highly skilled at interpretation of Engineering specifications and the translation into effective Work Instructions
