Manufacturing Engineer asc - Lexington, KY
In this role, the employee will use their knowledge of interpreting and reading engineering design drawings to develop fabrication routers/work instructions. This role will also require the employee to develop bill of materials (BOMs) based on drawing parts lists. All of this data will need to be put in the SOF CLSS systems of record, Jobscope and Teamcenter. Will be required to interpret input from program Production Engineers to enter data into SOF CLSS systems of record for aircraft integration
Bachelors degree from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Bill of Materials (BOM) experience
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Electrical skills prefered
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
TeamCenter Engineering experience
Production Engineering experience
Production Operations experience
Experience with Lean Six Sigma practices
SOF CLSS contract, facility, and customer knowledge
