Manage the following Manufacturing Engineering and Configuration Management processes. Review and analyzes released engineering changes and coordinate with engineering, quality, production control to ensure that the released engineering data is incorporated into our manufacturing processes at the correct configuration. Ensure that a solid configuration control process is in place to verify that all product are at the correct TDP revision prior to shipping hardware to the customer. Oversees the PLV requirements of all programs and ensures new team members know required steps for implementing changes in manufacturing processes, software changes and engineering. Responsible for ensuring tool orders are documented/tracked/processed in a timely fashion to meet programs requirements. General Document Management, Tracking and management of general documents (common process procedures) used within and across product lines. Ensure that these documents are reviewed periodically and kept up to date with respect to process changes, equipment changes, and related specifications. Responsible for Ocala Technical Operations Library for issue, release, control, and store software, documentation, and drawings. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Interact with other sites to develop uniform processes and best practices to strengthen our ability to do business in an efficient lean manner to achieve mission success. Responsible for site level command media review and change management. Responsible for Manufacturing Engineering site level functional processes.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
Must be familiar with manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly and industrial processes.
Prior supervisory experience leading teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the candidate to be a US Citizen.
Ability to obtain a clearance.
Knowledge of lean mfg, concepts & techniques.
Familiarity with SAP.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
