Logistics & Sustainment Engineer / Orlando, FL

This position will support Logistics and Sustainment Engineering (LSE) activities for one or more international support contracts.

Responsibilities include:
-Ensuring compliance to contract requirements
-Managing hardware in the depot repair processes
-Coordinating responses to customer technical queries
-Creating proposal inputs
-Estimating material usage and stock level
-Tracking reliability performance
-Processing shipments under ITAR requirements.

-Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.

Basic Qualifications
• Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a US Department of Defense Secret Clearance

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University (preferably focused in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or Information Technology)

• Familiarity with statistical analysis and modeling tools and techniques
• Ability to review / interpret data and derive trends
• Strong Computer Skills including MS Office
• Problem Solving Skills
• Solid written and oral Communication Skills
• Self-starter able to perform tasks with minimal supervision

Desired skills
• Previous work experience in defense or similar industry
• Supply Support/Stock Control background
• Experience with obsolescence and/or Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)
• Familiar with components and/or parts management
• Proactive approach to mitigating risk, such as DMSMS issues
• AMS SCM knowledge
