Lead Systems Integration and Test Engineer Sr Staff- Grand Prairie, TX

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Integration, Test and Verification Engineer to perform a variety of assignments that will support program test milestones. Candidate will leverage their technical, leadership and interpersonal skills in a structured team framework and work in a cross-functional team environment. Tasks may include:

Analysis of design specifications and development of product specifications to satisfy customer requirements, develop and recommend the system architecture and interfaces of the product, as well as perform trade studies and evaluations of engineering designs and concepts.

Develop integration, test and verification processes and perform integration of system components.

Determine verification and analysis, develop test documentation, lead pre-test reviews, and coordinate with Customer program offices and test facilities for test planning and execution.

Ideal candidate will have design/integration/test experience with platform integration and flight test at Eglin Air Force Base. Candidate must have prior knowledge of aircraft integration (5 years applicable experience minimum, F-16 preferred) and will provide subject matter expertise to plan and conduct ground and flight tests and interface Should also be familiar with general avionics architectures and functionality. Excellent writing, mathematical, verbal, and computer skills are required. Good communication and organizational skills

Generate and analyze performance reports and process control procedures.

Basic Qualifications
Must have an active Secret clearance

Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics

Familiar with integration and testing hardware and systems (eg. production, ground or flight testing; V&V (verification and validation) system; data analysis)

Candidate must have proven analytical skills and experience in data analysis. Selected candidate must have or be able to attain required security clearances.

Knowledge of system definition, system integration, verification and validation activities, throughout the life cycle of a product.

Desired skills
Selected candidate will ideally have some background in Weapon Interface. Experience in display systems on airborne platforms, requirements, or verification.

Knowledgeable in or the ability to learn the F-16 Mission Systems architecture and or Open System Architecture.

Proficient in MatLab and flight test experience.

Selected candidate must be a self-motivated who can work well with others in a dynamic fast-paced environment, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Should also be familiar with general avionics architectures and functionality.

Knowledgeable of system track and targeting accuracies and how they support the requirements for effective weapon employment.

Knowledgeable of weapon interface.

Capable of solving complex problems. Able to understand the entire system and the full lifecycle of the product.
