IRST Production Operations Lead/ Orlando, FL

Candidate will manage production activities for the IRST Program areas. Responsible for cost, schedule and quality across six manufacturing centers for full DFARS Earned Value contracts. Significant coordination with other functional areas and sites including engineering, quality, procurement, Ocala and Santa Barbara to drive key program milestones and improvements. Responsibilities include leading the direction of the program in the areas of proposals, program planning and execution, manpower planning, capital/capacity planning, NRE activity and process development. Candidate must be able to effectively communicate with the customer and at all levels of management via verbal and written correspondence. Position may involve limited travel.
Must be comfortable presenting to executive management.
Must possess and demonstrate Full Spectrum Leadership competencies.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other related degree

Experience in one or more of the following areas.
- Production Management
- Manufacturing Floor Support
- Supply Chain Management
- Program Management
- Production Control
- Electro-optical systems
- Experience in leadership-related field

Must have a current Secret security clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years
Desired Skills:
- Production Operations leadership experience.
- Experience in program development with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and leadership.
- Experience in capacity & capital planning.
- Understanding and wide application of Electro-Optical assembly and Test methods.
- First Unit Flow planning & execution
- Manufacturing & Test Statement of Work and Proposal development experience
- Experience with Make-Buy Generation
- Experience in the design of manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining and material handling.
- CAM Certification or cost analysis experience
