Industrial Security Supervisor / Troy, AL

Ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Joint Special Access Implementation Guide (JSIG), Department of Homeland Security Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosive (BATFE) requirements and Arms, Ammunition & Explosive (AA&E) Requirements. Interpret and implement governmental policies and procedures associated with said agencies. Represent site security manager during respective shift. Interface with site senior leadership. Develop and administer policies and procedures for DOD and Special Access Program (SAP) activities. Provide security support for SAP related activities after hours to include, but not limited to, personnel security, classification management, and physical security. Function as Emergency/Crisis Management Coordinator. Responsible for conducting staff training programs and coordinating crisis management response activities, training, and exercises. Additionally, the candidate will oversee/manage on-site Law Enforcement and contract guard force. Ability to work irregular hours, holidays, weekends, call-out, and overtime required.

The Locale: Troy, Alabama is located in the East Gulf Coastal Plains region of southeastern Alabama. Troy's climate is typical of areas along the Gulf of Mexico in that it has hot, humid summers and mild winters. Troy is a great place to live offering lots of things to do and has a small town charm. Troy is also a college town and is home to Troy University. Where can you get to from Troy? Troy is just under an hour south of Montgomery, Alabama. Troy is about 2.5 hours north of the Gulf of Mexico and Fort Walton Beach and Florida's Pan Handle. Troy is about three hours from Atlanta, GA.

Basic Qualifications
• Prior Security, Military, or Law Enforcement Experience, Computer Software applications related to Security, Report Writing Skills, with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Prior emergency response, crisis management or first responder experience.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, access control/closed circuit TV applications, Assured Identity, and badging.
• Must have strong Industrial Security related experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Candidate must be eligible to obtain a secret clearance and must have at least an interim secret clearance prior to start.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a private security weapon license.
• Must be able to obtain HAZWOPER certification and have the ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work irregular hours, holidays, weekends, call-out, and overtime required.

Desired skills
• Experience and knowledge of the NISPOM, JSIG and LM policies and procedures.
• Experience and knowledge of the National Incident Management Systems (NIMS).
• Experience with administering and managing automated access control systems/CCTV/ and Central Monitoring Station operations.
• Knowledge of Underwriter Lab 2050, NISP, and Closed Area construction.
• Experience in developing and presenting training materials to staff and others.
