Industrial Security Representative Asc / Orlando, FL

•Performs duties as the Program Operations Center departmental professional for a diverse group of customers interpreting and applying numerous security requirements including the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and DoD Manuals 5205.07, Vol 1 - 4 requirements and others as applicable. Evaluates information to determine candidate's access eligibility.
•Conducts thorough SF86 reviews and determines eligibility requirements based on adverse information, financial data, as well as foreign contacts, travel, and other mitigating circumstances. Manages foreign travel and foreign contacts and communicates with customer security professionals.
•Executes the proper accountability and handling, storing, transmission, reproduction, and destruction of classified material.
•Manages contractual requirements to and from customers.
•Critical in classified customer visits. Directs proper clearance and ensures customers meet visit requirements and clearance level for appropriate accesses.
•Interprets security procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
•Studies and implements federal and international security regulations that apply to program and company operations.
•Interacts with government agencies and develops solutions to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations.

•This position requires applicants to have a final secret security clearance with a background investigation performed within the last five years.
•Candidates must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance upon employment.
•This position also requires an enhanced security review in accordance with Government contract requirements and it is a condition of employment that individuals hired into positions requiring program clearance obtain and maintain such clearance within sufficient time to allow Lockheed Martin to meet its business needs.

Basic Qualifications
Advanced administrative and computer skills. Must have a current Secret clearance with an investigation date within 5 years. Strong interpersonal skills are a must. Must be able to communicate with Executive-level leadership. Knowledge of JPAS, SIMS, and security clearances, and SF 86 processing.

Desired skills
Understanding and knowledge of NISPOM, JAFANs, and Overprint.
