Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Mid-to-Senior Level Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer with expertise in Navigation and GPS to join our team in Orlando, Florida.

The responsibilities for this role include:

- Developing and analyzing GNC/Tracking/GPS algorithms and GPS/Satellite models using various simulations.

- Developing and testing 6-DoF simulation models and simulation builds especially GPS/Satellite/Receiver/Navigation modeling.

- Performing flight software verification and hardware integration tests in the Simulations and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) lab.

To be considered for this role you must currently hold a Secret clearance with a background investigation within the last 5 years.

West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience performing Missile 6DOF simulation design and analysis and Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) design and simulation analysis.

Experience developing and analyzing guidance, navigation and autopilot algorithms.

Experience designing target tracking systems including target state estimation and target/detection association.

Experience with optimal state estimation filters such as KALMAN and Extended KALMAN filter (EKF).

Experience performing design and analyses of terrestrial navigation and navigation state error estimation.

Strong math skills in the areas of linear algebra, matrix math, statistics, trigonometry, and coordinate transformation.

Experience with MATLAB and C/C++ programming.

Must currently hold a Secret clearance with a background investigation within the last 5 years.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Embedded Software and RF/EO knowledge.

SPIRENT, GPS Directorate interaction, Integration and Test, Embedded Software, Mission Planning, Survivability, and ADA Programming experience.
