Seeking an Engineer experienced in Inertial target tracking and sensor fusion for an advanced program initiative. This task is to analyze and characterize algorithm performance of a multi-function EO/IR system using flight test data collected in a relevant environment. Candidate must be able to conduct detailed analyses and trade studies to identify performance enhancements and conduct fault isolation of any performance issues. This includes collaborating with subject matter experts within Lockheed Martin to ensure a robust design and sound methodology for algorithm upgrades. Candidate must have experience developing and integrating multi-target tracking and discrimination algorithms, including optimal estimation techniques for range estimation and sensor fusion.

Experience using/developing MATLAB and C/C++ code is required.

This individual must have effective communication skills.

A Secret clearance current within the last five years is required.

Basic Qualifications
Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform the following Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) assignments:

Perform Missile 6DOF simulation design and analysis and Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) design and simulation analysis.

Develop and analyze guidance, navigation and autopilot algorithms.

Design target tracking systems which generally include target state estimation and target/detection association.

Demonstrate experience with optimal state estimation filters such as KALMAN and Extended KALMAN filter (EKF).

Perform design and analyses of terrestrial navigation and navigation state error estimation.

Contribute to the definition of an operational flight program (OFP) with integrated high fidelity 6DOF simulations.

Support preflight system performance assessment and post flight verification analyses.

Demonstrate strong math skills in the areas of linear algebra, matrix math, statistics, trigonometry, and coordinate transformation.Demonstrate mastery of MATLAB and C/C++ programming.

Must have a current Secret clearance that is SAP Clearable.

Desired skills
Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) simulation experience is desired.

Flight software integration and verification experience is also a plus.

Experience with Embedded Software, RF/EO knowledge, and experience programming in FORTRAN is also a plus.
