Description:Come join our GNC Missiles and Fire Control team in sunny Florida!

Lockheed Martin has an exciting opportunity for a mid-to-senior level engineer, that has an aptitude for Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and expertise in Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC).

The successful candidate must be able to work independently, and in a team, to develop 6-DoF simulation models and upgrades for continuous M&S development and must be able to analyze and develop algorithms.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Developing and testing 6-DoF simulation models and 6-DoF performance analysis
- Integrating and developing new simulation builds
- Integrating simulations with hardware
- Developing algorithms and tools
- Verifying and testing flight software
- Maintaining configuration control

To be considered for this role you must currently hold a Secret clearance with a background investigation within the last 5 years.

Where can you get to from Orlando? Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1.5 hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.
Basic Qualifications:
Skilled in C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink.

Experience is also needed in Signal Processing, Image Processing, RF Modeling and Simulation, and Physical Model effects.

Demonstrate mastery of MATLAB and C/C++ programming.

Must currently hold a Secret clearance with a background investigation within the last 5 years.
Desired Skills:
Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) simulation experience.

Flight software integration and verification experience .

Experience with Operational Analysis, Survivability, Lethality, and developing Systems-of-Systems Simulations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Skilled in C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink.
