GNC / Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer / Fire Control / Grand Prarie, TX
Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Guidance, Navigation and Control engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to work as part of a small, fast-paced development team for an advanced missile system. Responsibilities may include development of missile guidance and navigation algorithms, autopilot design, Hardware-in-the-Loop analysis, development and improvement of target tracking algorithms, and trade study analysis. Experience with Matlab and C++ is desired. An active Secret security clearance is required.

Experience with Matlab and C++
Experience with performance simulations of missile systems
Experience with GNC algorithm development
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
Must have an secret clearance prior to start that has an investigation within 5 years.
Familiarity with missile autopilot design.
Experience with target tracking algorithms such as Extended Kalman Filters.
