Finance Analyst

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Sr. Multi-Functional Financial Analyst for a position in Grand Prairie, TX. Duties include:

Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts that may require validated cost schedule control system

Performs analysis and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines

Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analysis such as funding profiles, sales and profit outlook, and variance analysis

Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled

Performs risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks

Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government

Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract and schedule baselines

Basic Qualifications
Must possess strong leadership, teaming, organization, communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills

Experience with Government CPFF and CPIF Development contracts

Strong financial experience in EVMS, Financial Analysis, Budget Management, Contract Status Reviews (CSR), Estimating, Forecasting (Orders / Sales / Profit / Cash)

Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)

SAP knowledge

Financial Reporting - IPMRs, CFSRs, CSDRs, etc.

A strong financial background with demonstrated ability to effectively forecast orders, sales, profit, and cash

Excellence communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external customers

Strategic and analytical thinker able to transfer vision into tactical objectives

Requires a high degree of motivation and proactive approach to decision making

Experience in the development of the quarterly CSR

Proven track record of streamlining process and tool development

EFS (Electronic Financial System) EVMS tool experience
