Field Technician / Inspection / Electrical Systems / Building Mechanical Systems /Nashville, TN

This position is located in Nashville, TN with approximately 50% travel time expected. There will be some overnight trips. The position supports the field component of an Energy Program implemented by Lockheed Martin. We are seeking field technicians with knowledge of electrical systems, energy storage, and building mechanical systems. Candidate must be detail-oriented, have strong communication skills and the capacity to handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
•Perform QA/QC activities, including conducting pre- and post-installation energy efficiency project inspections
•Identify and inventory building equipment parameters (type, age, efficiency, etc)
•Conduct discussions with facility owners/managers to gather appropriate data and information.
•Assist at construction sites for large scale battery storage installations
•Collect and organize data in Microsoft Excel
•Update and store information in Tracking System
•Manage and track in house equipment, tools and meters
••Support Engineers in the field and at the office as needed

Basic Qualifications
Field technician with ability to travel to a variety of facilities and construction sites to support a variety of energy program initiatives.
Must have a valid drivers license

Desired skills
Knowledge of building systems, electrical components, construction, and field safety. MS Excel and organization skills.
Construction Management experience a plus.
