Field Representative

Task 1: Data Entry/Compilation/QC:
Compile general information on products surveyed in-stores by utilizing existing program data and quick on-line queries. Merge information into central database. Perform quality checks on data collected in the field.

Task 2: Deliverables: Comprehensive data repository of general product information to support survey efforts and analysis.

Task 3: In-Store Product Surveys:
Assist current field staff in inventory/survey efforts. Travel to select retailers in MA or RI (as assigned) to assist in gathering data on appliances, consumer electronics and possibly lighting. Gather product model information, pricing and merchandising data and enter into program database using a tablet computer. Will work side-by-side with an existing field team member who will provide direction. Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, current auto insurance coverage, and a clean driving record. Will be compensated for mileage and travel expenses. Must be able to take and follow direction, have a good eye for detail, be capable of bending and standing for prolonged periods (6-8 hours per day) and able to utilize a tablet device to record data.

Task 4: Survey Deliverables: Completion of assigned surveys within scheduled timeframe. Accurate and timely submission of all data collected and expenses incurred.

Task 5: Field Support:
Provide back-up support during peak periods of activity and vacations. Visit retailers in MA and RI as needed to deliver rebate forms, and other Point of Purchase advertising materials. Check on status of negotiated promotions and provide feedback to management. Assist with other clerical tasks as requested. Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, current auto insurance coverage, and a clean driving record. Will be compensated for mileage and travel expenses. Must be able to take and follow direction, have a good eye for detail, good organizational and computer skills, be able to communicate clearly, and have a professional appearance.

Task 6: Deliverables: Completion of assigned retail visits within scheduled timeframes. Timely and accurate recording of information gathered and material distributed during visits. Detailed feedback on negotiated promotions from observations and data collected in participating stores. Accurate and timely submission of expenses incurred. Demonstrated completion of other tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
