Field Engineer Sr - C-130 and CV22 Aircraft - Special Operations Forces

Description:Lockheed Martin is looking for a Field Engineer to lead modification install efforts on C-130 and CV22 aircraft. This position is based out of Fort Walton Beach/Hurlburt Field, FL and Temporary Duty (TDY) travel is required. Trips may be for a few days or up to 90 days at CONUS and OCONUS location around the world. Responsible for maintaining quality, cost and schedule to program expectations and implementing constant improvement measures. The candidate will provide leadership and technical knowledge to the Group Leads and Technicians to accomplish al aspects of the aircraft modification and testing. The Lead will assign daily work assignments (Work Orders) and coordinate with Mechanical/Electrical Engineering to resolve any technical problems that may arise during the modification. Ensure follow-through on all policies and procedures and work closely with employees on the modification team.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience and ability to read and interpret complex mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and issues and determine technical solutions in accordance with company drawings, procedures and specifications.
- Minimum of three (3) years of aircraft maintenance/modification experience.
- Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural aircraft background
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to dynamic and frequently changing customer requirements
-Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite of software (excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications)
- Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Advanced experience and use of Microsoft Office Suite of software (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications)
- Heavy modification/integration/repair/maintenance experience on C-130 and CV22 aircraft
- Ability to work first, second or third shift
- Active Secret Clearance
