Field Engineer / International Deployment / SNIPER / LANTIRN / Electronics

This is a Technical Representative position at the AEC Extended Repair Capability (ERC) facility located at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in support of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Sniper, IRST, and LANTIRN program. This is an international unaccompanied duty assignment. Candidate will spend an appropriate amount of time prior to deployment for training and program indoctrination to ensure successful execution of assigned duties. The Technical Representative should possess a detailed understanding of maintenance and calibration of Sniper depot test stations. Must also possess a detailed understanding of intermediate level maintenance of LANTIRN Navigation systems. Must possess an understanding of associated support equipment to include: fault isolation, diagnostics, and repair. Technical representative will perform maintenance and calibration of Sniper ERC test stations. May also be required to backfill site lead responsibilities as required. This Technical Representative will be required to provide maintenance training to AEC employees. The candidate will represent Lockheed Martin and will require a positive, professional work attitude.

Perform maintenance and calibration of ERC test stations and support equipment.
Provide Organizational Level OJT support to AEC employees.
Provide on-site/on-equipment OJT to the component personnel on installation, maintenance and operating techniques pertaining to the trouble-shooting, inspection and repair of the prime equipment of the RSAF Sniper system.
Emphasize safety precautions to be taken in all instruction provided.
Render technical advice to resolve difficult and unusual maintenance or repair problems.
Provide consistent analysis and advice for maintenance/repair difficulties and provide recommendations to improve the quality of maintenance/repair and inspection.
Ability to recognize recurring issues/problems and communicate them to management.

Basic Qualifications
Must be proficent in Microsoft Office applications.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to obtain a security clearance and pass an overseas assignment physical.

Desired skills
Previous experience working with Middle Eastern military customers is desired. Experience with SNIPER and LANTIRN organizational and depot repair procedures are desired. The candidate should have detailed knowledge of Product Support depot operations which include Facility Management, Supply Chain Management, Depot maintenance practices and process flows, Property Management, Safety protocols, Domestic & International Transportation guide lines and MFC Quality standards.
