Facility Operations - Generator Maintenance - Clearance
•Responsibilities will include service repair of generator systems ranging from 100kw - 5 megawatts.
•Servicing of customers' power generation systems on the job site.
•General maintenance on generators, including changing oil and keeping units in good running condition.
•Must be a self-starter, willing to listen and work with others
•Orders materials, tools and instruments.
•Prepare reports and maintain records on equipment and preventive maintenance.
•Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment.
•Complete necessary paper work timely and accurately.
•Troubleshoot equipment failures both in service center and on customer locations.
•Installs, maintains and repairs electronic pneumatic devices related to HVAC control.
•Utilize mathematical formulas to determine both nominal and effective tonnage and/or KW requirements.
•Knowledge in reading and understanding schematics.
•Practice and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, and other required regulations.
•Obtain & maintain necessary certifications.
Four years of journey-level experience in the repair and maintenance of generator sets and/or uninterrupted power supply systems. Education or technical training in a field related to power generating plants or related electrical equipment through a recognized trade union, technical school or equivalent; accredited college or university may substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
•Maintain a valid driver's license.
•Work well with public as well as with co-workers.
•Must be a self-starter and work independently with no or minimum guidance
•Willing to work long hours to include weekend.
Deployed within the last three years. Better than average written and verbal communication skills.
WILLINGNESS TO WORK ROTATIONAL SHIFTS INCLUDING DAYS, EVENINGS, MIDNIGHTS, HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS AS REQUIRED. MUST WORK IN EXTREME TEMPERATURES HOT AND COLD, INDOOR/OUTDOOR.MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 70 POUNDS.

TS/SCI. Prior military experience.
