Fabrication Inspector / Metrology / GD&T / CMM / Orlando, FL

Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control business area is experiencing some substantial growth at our campus in sunny Orlando, FL. We are seeking a Fabrication Inspector to join our team.
From ultra-precision machining and additive manufacturing to the development and production of complex optical components and sophisticated electronic systems, Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) utilizes the latest capabilities in manufacturing to produce some of the world's most advanced weapon and sensor technology.
The Fabrication Inspector performs final inspections on electro-mechanical, and other mechanical, composite and integrated systems. Ascertains functionability in accordance with prescribed company and customer requirements and specifications and may present to the customer for certification and acceptance prior to shipment. Prefer computer network application experience, engineering record retention systems to obtain and accomplish inspection planning and acceptance. Performs test setup, conducts tests, and determines quality acceptance. Works from prints, engineering drawings, and specifications. Utilizes a variety of inspection instruments and gages. Inspects for structural flaws and checks critical dimensions to extremely close tolerances. Furnishes information for preparation of logbooks. Writes reliability reports on items affecting inspection operations. Requires strong CMM and GD&T experience.
Must have the ability to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement between Lockheed Martin and the UAW, with the possibility of having to work overtime and work on the weekends depending on Business unit needs.

West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.

Basic Qualifications
Must have the ability to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift according to the collective bargaining agreement.
Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) experience is required.
Mechanical Quality inspection experience, drawing interpretation experience, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) experience is required.
Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Strong CMM experience with Zeiss - Calypso, Brown and Sharpe with PCDMIS, Nikon CMM with Camio software
