Energy Storage - Electrical Engineer Associate
Energy Storage Project Engineer will support the LM Energy Storage Project Manager and Customer Account Manager to develop technical approaches and site designs for utility, commercial and industrial installations of LM Energy GridStar™ energy storage systems (ESS).
Work directly with utilities, customers and/or end user to ensure electrical, mechanical, and communications interfaces at the installation site meet installation and interconnection specifications.
Develop site drawings and BOMs and work with LM Energy GridStar™ engineering team for any custom or site specific requirements.
Design to customer specific requirements, including integration of customer equipment into the customer equipment user space.
Assist with tracking and meeting project specific contract deliverables.
Develop customer/site specific procedures which may include installation and site acceptance test manual and commissioning procedures. Manage acceptance testing and coordinate the test, verification, and deployment of customer specific communications and controls requirements and interfaces.
Electrical Engineering degree with emphasis in power systems, and familiarity with PV systems desired. Ability to travel is required.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Understanding of lithium-ion energy storage technology and applications
Familiar with electric utility operations
Understanding of Solar+Storage, PV applications
