Cyber Embedded Design & Development / Systems Engineer / Orlando, FL
Design, implement, deploy, and maintain state of the art security architectures and countermeasures to protect and enable innovative new Lockheed Martin products
â€¢ Balance security, compliance, performance, power and cost for a diverse portfolio of embedded devices
â€¢ Evaluate the security of new product designs and analyze vulnerabilities and threats.
â€¢ Prototype and test countermeasures that defend against cyber-attacks
â€¢ Embed yourself amongst Hardware, Firmware, Software, and Systems Engineers to define and integrate security measures into a wide range of high integrity, safety-critical products
â€¢ Design of embedded systems written primarily in C/C++
â€¢ Experience with real-time operating systems and embedded hardware
â€¢ Familiarity and design experience through the DoD systems lifecycle
â€¢ Hands-on experience implementing Risk Management Framework (RMF) and development of required artifacts
â€¢ Bachelor of Science in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
Must have a secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years to be considered for this opportunity.
Strong electrical engineering background, including both analog and digital domains
â€¢ Greater than 3 years of hands-on experience working with embedded systems
â€¢ Familiar with the embedded microprocessor design process as how it relates to software assurance: compilers, debuggers, IDE and source code control
â€¢ Good understanding of security protocol design and analysis, firmware and embedded OS design principles
â€¢ Experience with secure coding and software assurance practices.
â€¢ Penetration testing experience including use of tools such as those found in Kali Linux, Backtrack, or equivalent
â€¢ Deep understanding of OSI layers and associated protocols
â€¢ Professional software development experience in C, C++, and Python
â€¢ Linux systems administration experience including STIG hardening and compliance checks
â€¢ Software and firmware reverse engineering experience
â€¢ Extensive knowledge of at least one of: secure boot implementations, cryptographic key management, state of the art cryptographic architectures for power-limited solutions.
â€¢ Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following: defeating physical anti-tamper mechanisms, performing and defending against side-channel and fault-injection attacks, and/or reverse-engineering and exploitation of embedded systems hardware and protocols
