Configuration Analyst - Ocala, FL

Description:Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. Coordinates modification records for management control. Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Prepares reports of change effect on overall product. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, and manufacturing. Ensures that customer requirements are implemented, and reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies. Release documents into PLM. For the software library, ensure data released into PLM is maintained at correct configuration. Perform audits for software on the manufacturing floor and in the cabinets in the Tech Ops Library. Administer Tool Orders for the Ocala facility. Log and maintain all software packages for equipment. CDM point of contact for all MPP Change Board activities. Support MPP Change Board activities by facilitating MPP Change Board meetings and tracking and charting metrics. General document management of MPP Change Board related documents. This position will be located at a facility that requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of Configuration Management or related field experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Master's degree

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Desired Skills:
-Previous Experience with SAP, MES-CAPP, MQS or FACTS
-Ability to Exercise Flexibility and Demonstrate Initiative
-Software library experience
-Full knowledge of industry and company practices
-Aerospace and/or manufacturing experience
-Experience working within teams
-Excellent communication, writing, and verbal skills
