Classified Cybersecurity Analyst / Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) / Orlando, FL
Works independently to ensure all aspects of classified Cybersecurity program elements are addressed in accordance with requirements. Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions that meet information system security requirements. Analyzes threats and risks for the purpose of developing and implementing customized Risk Mitigation plans. Assesses and mitigates information system security threats/risks throughout the system's lifecycle. Develops, executes and maintains a continuous monitoring plan to validate information protection effectiveness. Validates system configuration and settings in accordance with government regulatory compliance requirements as well as internal counter-espionage (insider threat detection and mitigation). Validates system security requirements definition and analysis; establishes system security designs; implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures; verifies security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities, and supports secure systems operations and maintenance. Performs user education/briefings on the proper use of the system and program procedures.
Develop change control, configuration management, installation, and implementation planning documentation. Perform information systems security trend analysis; document and report potential risks. Develop information systems security risk and assurance best practices, and other reference materials.
This position requires applicants to have a final secret security clearance. Candidates must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance upon employment. This position may require an enhanced security review in accordance with Government contract requirements and it is a condition of employment that individuals hired into positions requiring program clearance obtain and maintain such clearance within sufficient time to allow Lockheed Martin meets its business needs.
Documented experience in the fields of information assurance, information system security configuration, and government approval processes for information systems. Knowledge of security configuration and settings for current Windows and Linux based operating systems. Familiarity with security technical implementation guides (STIGS) and associated system validation tools. Ability to use standard office desktop applications to create system security plans and associated documentation. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts and fundamentals. Ability to provide technical briefings for large and small audiences with people from a variety of backgrounds in attendance. Ability and willingness to work as an integral member of a small cohesive team operating in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Possess current technical certification such as Security+, CISSP, etc.
