Business Operations Manager - Fixed Wing Aviation - SOF CLSS - EVMS - SAP - COBRA

Business Operations Manager located in Fort Walton Beach, FL supporting the Fixed Wing Aviation programs for the SOF GLSS Business Unit out of Lexington KY. Performs activities that drive efficient spending, planning and execution of enterprise financial and resource investments across various functions, including but not limited to business finance, operations, supply chain, program management, sustainment, and/or contracts. Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives. Considered an expert in the Bus Ops (Finance, Planning, Contracts) field, including but not limited to: Providing the breadth and depth of business knowledge, skills and experience to the Aviation Programs to inform and influence its execution such that financial returns to the company are maximized. Ensuring presentations for Program/Executive reviews (LOB, MAR, PFSR, EV, ELC, etc.) are complete, accurate, and on time. Reviewing Financial Metrics (OSEC & EVMS) monthly to adhere compliance with commitments and communicate non-compliances in a timely manner to PM & VP. Supporting internal and external surveillance audits. Reviewing and presenting the CSR - communicating Qtr EAC changes to Upper Management. Ensuring full compliance with corporate Command Media, with particular focus on strategic initiatives. Supporting PM at monthly risk board to ensure accuracy of risk value and mitigation activities as defined in the formal Risk Register. Managing reserves. Providing support to Bids, EPPs, NBC's & overhead evaluations. Ensure Policy Compliances with program Financial/commercial/planning/risk activities. Support Customer Relations by making sure PMR is on time and accurate. Reconcile Contract Value - validate that contract uplifts are flowed thru to financial documents and communicated with required areas (i.e. ICE).

Basic Qualifications
-Defense Industry background
-Expert knowledge of EVMS performance Metrics
-SAP, COBRA, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) a must
-Work is performed without appreciable direction
-Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
-Willing to travel periodically for customer reviews: Lexington KY, Tampa FL, Orlando FL, Ohio, Colorado.
