We are looking for an experienced Wireless Communications Systems Engineer to drive design and specification for a new state of the art mobile SATCOM communications system. In this role you will be responsible for design and specification development for a SATCOM communications system including modification of the 3GPP specs with focus on PHY layer implementation of NB IoT. This position requires strong problem solving skills focused on Wireless Communications Engineering.

Basic Qualifications:
• Wireless communications engineer or systems engineer with wireless communications expertise
• Experience with and NR (New Radio) physical layer and physical layer specifications, such as 36.100 series and 36.200 series / 38.100 series and 38.200 series
• Experience of modeling and simulation of and/or physical layer
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities
Desired Skills:
• Satellite communications (SATCOM) experience and knowledge about SATCOM standards (e.g. DVB-S/S2/S2x/RCS/RCS2, Geo Mobile Radio, etc.)
• Experience managing subcontractor relationships
