Thermodynamics Engineer, Senior Staff / Advanced Programs

Description: --Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Program--

Lead Thermodynamics engineer for Skunk Works programs. Design and investigate innovative thermal cooling solutions for hardware systems in large scale. Contribute to thermal architecture for passive and active cooling systems. Create analytical and numerical models using various Computational Fluid Dynamics tools to describe system thermodynamics. Develop and execute test plans to measure thermal performance/efficiency of products. Simulate and analyze module and pack cooling schemes. Engage Hardware Design team to ensure proper component design. Engage with external vendors on design, test and production. Develop and publish case studies/technical papers describing thermal analysis of cooling systems.

Selected applicant must be eligible for a Secret Security Clearance.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance to start.
Desired Skills: Significant background in CAD modeling of aircraft subsystems.
Design lead or SME experience in one or more subsystems.
Experience with integrating multiple vehicle subsystems.
Experience with configuration management and drawing release processes.
Good oral and written communication skills.
---Bachelors degree OR above Degree in Engineering or
Technical discipline.
-- Experience in Thermodynamics calculations
-- CATIA V5 or CAD (Computer Aided Design) experience
