Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Marietta, GA is seeking a full-time Technical Publications Data Architect (S1000D) - Level 4 role. In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Install/Maintain software environments
- Work in the group as an embedded software guru and observe the technical writer workflow
- Liaison with IT when technical challenges arrive to help guide and implement changes using your knowledge as an embedded analyst
- Analyze systems as a lead and work with other technical publications experts to design and build dynamic software and automations
- Work with software developers to diagnose our technical publications software deliverables
- Liaison with software developers to communicate and validate fixes to the technical publications software
- Rework developed Lockheed Martin Enterprise software into the groups technical publications environment to progressively update and automate our program workflow
- Desktop Computer Hardware/system monitoring and performance tuning
- Maintain and create system/software/user maintenance documentation for the group's software and automation solutions

Must be a US Citizen this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

A level 4 employee Typically has 9 years of professional experience.

This position is in Marietta, GA Discover Marietta.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must hold an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation in the last 5 years prior to start

• Previous experience with Windows Vista/7/10 Software Diagnostics

• Demonstrated experience with C# development using WinForms or WPF and the knowledge necessary to diagnose and/or interpret source code of existing applications

• Demonstrated experience with advanced macro development and diagnostics using Microsoft Office Excel, Access VBA, ORACLE and/or AWS databases

• Experience with JavaScript, SQL, experience with web application diagnostics, and/or web browser developer tools
Desired Skills:
• Technical Publications Experience
• Working knowledge of S1000D specification
• Working knowledge of Styler for Transform development
• Experience with XML data serialization
• Experience with Illustration software (CATIA, IsoDraw)
• Experience with authoring software (Arbortext)
• Experience with Contenta and LiveContent software
• Knowledge of RegEx
• Experience with Java
• Windows 10 Workstation and laptop hardware knowledge and diagnostics
• Demonstrated system administration experience, which may include:
• Working knowledge of Networked Attached Storage (NAS) systems and supported protocols
• Knowledge of and/or experience with system administration, which may include:
• User Account Maintenance (Active Directory)

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
