Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a qualified Systems Tester to join our team of skilled, diverse individuals. This position will be located on-site in a government customer facility at Schriever AFB, in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will require the ability to effectively work alongside software developers, systems engineers, and operations specialists throughout the full lifecycle development. Candidate will be a member of a team tasked with testing of new and legacy software components.
•Convert customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints
•Develop and execute comprehensive software and/or hardware test methods, test plans, and test procedures
•Assist in the design and evaluation of test equipment and facilities to be used in testing software or prototype hardware
•Analyze and interpret performance data
•Support development of requirements for new systems, development of test measures and criteria for requirements-based testing, test planning, execution, and reporting activities
•Support data management activities associated with testing and analysis of test data to determine satisfaction of test
Candidate will participate in ad hoc testing and be able to conduct system regression testing as assigned, participate in the generation of requirements used for development and testing, internal design reviews, customer technical interchange meetings, and formal testing activities.
Desired Skills: •Regression and Automated Test experience
•Software testing certification (i.e., ISTQB CTFL, QAI CAST, or IIST CSTA-P)
•Active Security + Certification
•System and software test experience including test planning, procedure development, and test execution.
•Experience with Agile testing methodologies is a required
•Experience with defect tracking and version control
•Extensive knowledge of the Air Force Satellite Control Network and satellite operations
•Previous experience with one of the following is required: Dimensions RM, Requisite Pro, TeamCenter SE, DOORS, or an equivalent system
•Knowledge of Serena Business Management (SBM) or other work flow tool
•Knowledge of all phases of software development lifecycle and processes
•Good communication, writing, presentation and organization skills
•Exceptional attention to detail
•Strong general computer skills and proficiency in MS Windows and MS Office applications
•Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
