Systems Engineer Staff

Description: F-35 Offboard Mission Support (OMS) Team On-Site Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Australia Canada United Kingdom Reprogramming Lab (ACURL).

OMS provides F-35 ground mission planning, mission debrief, security and sensor reprogramming capabilities. This candidate will be an integral part of the ACURL team as well as a member of a team of engineers responsible for the development of OMS software used by Mission Data programmers, F-35 pilots, and system administrators. The candidate's primary responsibility will be to provide operational, training, and maintenance support for the OMS Reprogramming Lab tools (Mission Data File Generator (MDFG), Mission Data File Release (MDFR), and Mission Planning Support Environment (MPSE)). Additional responsibilities include collaboration with Fort Worth OMS team, troubleshooting, and reporting and documenting issues.

This position will be located at the ACURL facility on Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The position will require periodic domestic travel to Fort Worth, Texas.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

The position requires at least an Interim Secret Clearance to start. Candidate must be eligible to obtain Special Access Required (SAR) clearances.

Experience with F-35 OMS and/or Mission Systems
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with tactical aircraft and ground based systems, specifically sensors, datalinks, and weapons system planning.

- Experience with Crypto Key Management systems.

- Experience with mission planning (e.g. Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) or equivalent mission planning system).

- Experience with Windows-based systems and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Project)
