Systems Engineer Staff

Description: The Skunk Works is looking for world-class talent in mission systems engineering to join the 75 year tradition of creating advanced aircraft.

This position requires an Avionics Lead Engineer to use their technical, program, and systems expertise to design, develop, integrate, and qualify Air-to-Air Refueling (AAR) systems for advanced aircraft. The candidate will design the AAR in conjunction with flight control engineers. Tasks will include the modelling and simulation to verify the design, as well as integration and test to validate performance characteristics.

The candidate must be effective working in team environment environments. Strong verbal and writing skills are essential.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and an Interim Secret clearance required to start.
Desired Skills: Modeling and Simulation Experience
Previous Air-to-Air Refueling Experience
Proven Avionics Design Background
Pilot Vehicle Interface (PVI) Experience
Program Planning Experience
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree or above in an Engineering Discipline, Math, Physics, or related STEM Degree
