Systems Engineer Sr
Description: Lockheed Martin Space's Mission Solutions business area in King of Prussia, PA is seeking creative & high energy Systems Engineers to support a ground breaking new mission area. Selected candidates will be part of an integrated team focused on new program starts, internal research and development initiatives, and fast paced new business pursuits. The selected candidate will perform system engineering tasks using agile methodologies and support customers interested in developing new system capabilities. We are looking for talented engineers who can deal with uncertainty and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Selected candidates will be given product responsibility, engage customers and be asked to create new mission capabilities. You will be an integral part of a team developing new concepts, designs and delivering innovative and affordable capabilities to customers. Selected candidates must be passionate about their trade, insist on product quality, and be focused on mission success. You will be joining a high performing team. The successful candidate must demonstrate effective communication skills, desire challenges and be willing to engage in frequent internal interactions with peers, teammates, and customers in other geographical locations. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

- Tools: DOORS, STK, Enterprise Architect, Cameo Systems Modeler
- Interface definition (IRS, IDD, SV-6, etc.)
- Configuration Management
- Open Architecture Management standards (OMS / UCI)
- XML Schema (XSD) development
- System of Systems Integration
Systems Engineering Background (e.g. systems documentation, system requirements, CONOPS, systems verification, system architecture and design). The candidate will have demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment; to include development teams, product owners and program leadership.
