Systems Engineer Sr

Description: Lockheed Martin and the Shockwave Shared Services Team is looking for an innovative, dynamic systems engineer to create cutting edge solutions for our customer. You'll join a fast-paced agile development team, working under the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) with a focus on System Engineering. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Individual will be able to demonstrate good communication skills. Individual will contribute to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects under the direction of a technical lead, manager or technical mentor.

Desired Skills: - Large program experience
- Familiarity with Agile development/SAFe
- Experience with web-based tools and technologies
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to function as self-starter.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience in requirements definition, ConOps creation, and verification using DOORS
- Ability to perform effectively in a team environment, interacting with infrastructure engineers, quality, software developers, and project engineers.
- Demonstrated process improvement and efficiencies mindset.
