This position supports the LM Space Chief Engineer through the coordination and management of the Engineering Corrective Action Board (ECAB) process and other Enterprise Boards (EERB, EQRB), and performing additional tasks on special projects that support Enterprise initiatives.

In the primary role, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the agenda and inputs for the monthly ECAB meeting and updating and maintaining the ECAB database. Activities include preparation of meeting minutes, Verification Items, Action Items, Audit Items, and overall metrics. The individual will also stay apprised of other CAB topics that may impact Engineering as well as Mission Success topics that are related to ECAB items.

Additional assignments will include working strategic initiatives assigned to the Chief Engineer, such as seeking affordable design solutions through the use of common products. To that purpose, this role includes the coordination of subject matter experts, functional organizations and LOB/Program/Centers of Excellence representatives to support the Enterprise Engineering Review Board (EERB), Enterprise Qualification Review Board (EQRB) and Common Product Initiative.

The position requires excellent communication skills, as one of the primary tasks is interfacing with various functional and program personnel, including executive management. Technical experience is extremely useful as well as the ability to recognize and coordinate cross-functional concerns.

Basic Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of system engineering processes - including Design review, Independent Review Boards, Peer Reviews
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and teamwork with internal customers
- Experience with system engineering space/missile systems
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- Broad Experience of Systems Engineering life Cycle process and tools.
- Experience with Spacecraft and/or Missile System/Subsystem design, integration and/or test
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills
- Knowledge of LM Space Command Media and Processes
- Understanding of product development, especially qualification of design
- Proficiency with standard documentation and presentation tools
- Knowledge of Root Cause/Corrective Action investigations and analysis
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members.
- Ability to Effectively manage change
- TS/SCI is not required, but will allow for additional job growth
