Systems Engineer Senior - Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance/ Advanced Programs

The Skunk Works is looking for world-class talent in Mission Systems engineering to join the 70-year tradition of creating advanced aircraft. The position will be part of the Mission System Sensors Integrated Product Team (IPT) for an ADP Program. The position will provide technical experience towards integrating Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) Sensors on to air vehicle platforms. These duties will include but are not limited to sensor identification, functionality assessment, sensor compatibility, source selection of sensors and platform integration.

Candidate should have experience in Avionics and ISR Sensor Integration with particular emphasis in Electronic Warfare platform integration. The successful candidate will be an integral member of a technical interface team, responsible for working with external supplier teams, (both internal and external to the Corporation) to develop and integrate an ISR suite addressing the Customer's requirements. The successful candidate will interface with other ADP Program IPTs to ensure the integrated ISR suite conforms to air vehicle configuration, flight and ground test, and operational requirements in both test and operational environments. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate ability to accomplish fault analysis in resolving Sensor integration issues arising from operations and/or maintenance activities associated with an integrated Electronic Warfare system.

Direct experience in one or more of the following is desired: operational experience with integrated Electronic Warfare and Weapons systems and associated support equipment; an in-depth understanding and operation of US Military RF Sensors; knowledge of antennas, navigation, weapon integration, and system security information assurance principles; developing and providing classroom instruction on military sensors, avionics systems, and air vehicle mission systems.

The position will apply appropriate System Engineering Processes through all phases of a project. Development of requirements baseline, managing risk, defining and managing trade studies, maintaining configuration management, and support technical planning. A fast paced IPT environment can be expected.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for program access. Selected applicant must have a Final Top Secret Security Clearance to start in this position.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
