Lockheed Martin Space is currently seeking System Engineers to be a part of the team developing technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to conflict.

As part of the Systems team, the successful candidate will support tasks related to development of the overall System. The candidate will have the opportunity to learn and work in all Systems disciplines to include system , definition, allocation, maintenance, /validation, system , systems and .

In addition, the candidate will support major program reviews including SRR, PDR, and CDR. The candidate may participate in Specification and Interface Control Document development. The candidate may support the process to include development of and Plans. The candidate may support system analyses in support of mission and execution. The candidate may support tests at various test ranges. Some travel may be required.

The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of the project life cycle (e.g., architecture development, CONOPS, definition, , qualification, , assembly and ). The candidate will work in a team environment and will interface with multiple disciplines, program management and customers to help drive to a complete solution.

Must be a US Citizen. Must have the ability to obtain a Clearance or higher level as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in or related technical discipline with 2 or more years of professional experience or Masters degree in or related discipline

- Systems (or related) experience and familiarity with systems processes including one or more of the following:

1) identification, decomposition and allocation
2) interface control document and element specification development and management
3) or performance of requirement
4) system-level system
5) and/or and/or execution

- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-environment

- DoD level clearance, or interim Clearance
Desired Skills:
-Experience with one or more of the following:

1) Support to major reviews
2) system experience
3) DOORS or other tool
4) MatLab, and/or other or tools
5) / Development
6) Hypersonics
