The Systems Engineer will support design, development and test of the F-35 ALIS system. Tasks include: Development and Analysis of system requirements, Development of specifications and test procedures, Conduct of subsystem and system Integration and Test, Conduct of formal system acceptance testing, Problem documentation and resolution in support to in-house and fielded systems.

This position is for a Systems Engineer working on the integration of a large, distributed, multi-tier system. The candidate for this position should have strong experience integrating COTS and developed software, proven experience in design, documentation and execution of complex installation procedures, and should be capable of reviewing, evaluating and deriving requirements for installation and deployments. Along with knowledge and ability to design and document integration and deployment plans, the candidate performs analysis of test results, and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system-level evaluation metrics reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems. Ability to interface with all levels of program management, engineering and customers, and travel to deployment sites as required.

Desired Skills: 1) Previous experience with the F-35 ALIS system
2) Technical Writing / Editing experience
3) Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities. and deal with competing priorities in a fast paced environment
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.

Demonstrated skills, to include:
a. Setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting all aspects that make up Storage Area Network (SAN), logical unit number (LUN) and host bus adapter (HBA) hardware
b. Setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting all aspects that make up Internet Protocol (IP) Switch Fabric architecture (Routing, Fail Over, etc)
c. Working knowledge of Network Attached Storage (NAS) and supported protocols
d. Disaster Recovery/Restores
e. Backups of physical servers, virtual machines, workstations
f. Hardware/System monitoring of physical and virtual servers
g. System Maintenance - schedule upgrades, OS updates, security patches
h. Active Directory updates and user account maintenance

Must have the ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
